Latin lover—BAM to host a spicy fiesta
An auxiliary of working professionals of the Boca Raton Museum of Art, BAM, will host its signature annual Fiesta de Tapas event, September 25 at 7 p.m. in the Museum’s outdoor sculpture garden. This popular fiesta is being held in conjunction with the exhibition “Visiones: 20th Century Latin Art,” which will be at the Museum through December 7.
BAM members, young professionals of South Florida and art lovers will convene to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, an annual celebration of Latin culture, while enjoying a spectacular Latin art exhibition, “Visiones,” from the Nassau County Museum of Art. The festivities continue with Latin-inspired drinks provided by AMC Promotions, food, live Latin music and a variety of exciting raffle prizes. Chairpersons of the event are Jeffery Weinstein, Elizabeth Grace and Sung Knowles.
“The Hispanic culture has considerable influence in South Florida, and this year BAM has an excellent opportunity to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month while highlighting the ‘Visiones’ exhibition” said Sung Knowles, chairperson and BAM member. “We are all looking forward to this year’s event, as it promises to be enlightening and a whole lot of fun at the same time.”
Tickets are $20 per person for BAM members and $35 for non-members, benefiting the Boca Raton Museum of Art. Admission includes two drink tickets and hors d’oeuvres.
