28 local nonprofits debut leadership program
Twenty-eight leaders representing local non-profit organizations kicked off the Leadership and Management Class of 2009, a program led by Nonprofits FirstTM. Created and sponsored by Nonprofits FirstTM and the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, the Leadership and Management program is designed for middle managers to move to the next level of personal and collective effectiveness as non-profit leaders in Palm Beach County. The nine-month program prepares leaders to develop a personal leadership philosophy and provides its diverse members with tools in organizational leadership and collaboration. The program is made up of six modules focusing on the leadership, learning, growth, teams, strategic planning, governance, fund development, operations, entrepreneurship, innovation, productivity and results.
Tiano Consulting Group is the facilitator of the Leadership and Management Class of 2009.
