Dreams really will come true at the Wee Dream Ball
When the committee planning the 2008 Wee Dream Ball, slated for December 5 at Woodfield Country Club, announced a “Wildest Dreams” Auction and Ultimate Sports Raffle, they were not exaggerating. Co-Chairs Kathy and Paul Adkins and Denise and Jordan Zimmerman are proud to release exciting details on two of the many stunning prize packages that will help provide crucial funding for the children of the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers (FFCDC).
To whet your “Wildest Dreams” appetite, Lynn Hover, Vice President/General Manager of Neiman Marcus, has created the “Cinderella” Live Auction Package that will include: A $10,000 diamond and onyx necklace from the collection of renowned designer Zydo; a pair of designer shoes every month for 12 months to satisfy your inner Fashionista; lunch for you and a friend at Mariposa Restaurant at Neiman Marcus every month for a year; and you can let your beauty shine through with monthly facials for an entire year.
The Ultimate Sports Raffle is truly an unbelievable dream come true. You can win two VIP tickets to five of the nation’s top sporting events: Sunday at the 2009 Masters; the 2010 Super Bowl in Miami; the 2009 NBA Final Game; the 2009 World Series Final Game; and the 2009 NHL Stanley Cup Final Game. There will be only 250 opportunities to win this once-in-a-lifetime prize so the odds are in your favor. To learn more about this sports experience, go to www.ffcdc.org or email email@example.com.
Kathy Adkins said, “We are extremely appreciative of our generous underwriters and sponsors and would especially like to acknowledge the support of: Karen & Jay Foreman – our Honorary Chairs, Peggy Henry, the Kazma family, Shelly and Bill Marshall, Hiromi and Robert Printz, the Staton & Bell families, Sun Capital and Stila Cosmetics, Carrie Rubin, Custom Medical Services, Lydian, C & J. These caring individuals and companies are helping to change children’s lives.”
The Wee Dream Ball, with the theme “Big Hearts Helping Little Ones”, was listed as one of the top 10 events in Palm Beach County boasting a high-energy atmosphere filled with dining, dancing and great fun.
Denise Zimmerman, who chaired the 2007 event and is a co-chair this year, said “Guests who attended last year will be excited to see some of the elements they have enjoyed in the past, but they should also expect new surprises and not-to-be-missed prizes. With two-thirds of the tickets already gone, this is again the hottest evening in town.”
The FFCDC mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of young children from economically challenged families in our community. Florence Fuller Child Development Centers provide quality childcare, early education, family support programs and the only Head Start preschool in Boca Raton. We prepare children for a lifetime commitment to learning and social achievement, while empowering their families to build a brighter future.
