Hospice by the Sea celebrates 35 years of service with seaside gathering
As fireworks explode over the ocean and glasses are raised, Hospice by the Sea Inc. will celebrate 35 years of service to the community.
“Celebration by the Sea” will take place Oct. 15 from 5:30 to10 p.m. at the Delray Beach Club, 2001S. Ocean Blvd.
“This year’s ‘Celebration by the Sea’ will be like none other,” said Paula Alderson, president and CEO of Hospice by the Sea Inc. “We are truly going to celebrate our accomplishments over the past 35 years and honor the dedicated group that recognized a need for more compassionate care for those with a serious illness in the community. This year’s event will reflect that in everything we do.”
Attendees can enjoy live music, dancing, dinner and private photo sessions in a supersized photo booth. Guests can also bid on auction items and getaways in a new way: with their cellphones.
ABC FineWine& Spirits, the premier sponsor of “Celebration by the Sea” is collaborating with the club’s executive chef, Jason Miranda, to pair a variety of cuisines with the right wine, spirit or craft beer, which will be offered at tasting stations both inside and poolside.
Attire for the evening is Tropical Chic. Tickets are $135 per person, and complimentary valet parking is included.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Hospice by the Sea’s programs and services for patients and families in Palm Beach and Broward counties. These funds will help to assure care for the uninsured and underinsured.
