Crossroads Financial golf tournament to benefit March of Dimes
Crossroads Financial invites executives to participate in its fifth annual golf tournament Oct. 25 at Delaire Country Club in Delray Beach.
Proceeds from the event will benefit March of Dimes, a 75-year-old organization that assists mothers to have full-term pregnancies, and researches the problems that threaten the health of babies.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., and a lunch buffet will be served from11 a.m. to1p.m., followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The cost is $225 for an individual golfer, or $900 for a foursome. The cost includes greens fees, cart fees, a lunch buffet, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a closing reception and the presentation of awards. Exclusive prizes, including gift cards, courtesy rounds of golf, golfing apparel and more, will be awarded to the top foursome, closest to the pin, longest drive and other contests. Immediately following play, there will be more networking, cocktails and dining, an awards ceremony and a silent auction.

A related event, the March of Dimes’ “Signature Chefs Auction,” chaired by Lee and Marcia Haskin, will take place Oct. 24 at Boca Raton’s Mizner Park. Attendees will enjoy samples of signature dishes from top local chefs, including Dada, Truluck’s, Max’s Grille, City Fish Market and more. Guests will have the chance to bid on silent and live auction items, while helping to fund breakthrough research to benefit March of Dimes. Auction items include a unique assortment of packages, personal chef experiences, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, entertainment and travel.
