Each year, the Palm Beach Chap­ter of the Amer­i­can Tech­nion So­ci­ety wel­comes an in­spir­ing and ex­cep­tional group of vis­i­tors from the Tech­nion-Is­rael In­sti­tute of Tech­nol­ogy, Is­rael’s top-ranked univer­sity spe­cial­iz­ing in cut­tingedge ar­eas of re­search. The guests will in­clude stu­dents Arielle Fischer, a doc­toral can­di­date in me­chan­i­cal en­gi­neer­ing, work­ing in the Tech­nion’s bio-ro­bot­ics and bio-me­chan­ics lab; and David Gold­berg, an un­der­grad­u­ate stu­dent in bio­med­i­cal en­gi­neer­ing, with a mi­nor in en­trepreneur­ship. They will be joined by pro­fes­sor Dan Adam from the Depart­ment of Bio­med­i­cal En­gi­neer­ing, an ex­pert in the field of ul­tra­sound pro­cess­ing. $35 per per­son. 2880 S.
