Paw-ty time Western-themed ball goes to the dogs— literally
Calling all pet lovers. Put on your cowboy hats and finest boots for the13th annual “Doggie Ball.”
The event is set for 5:30 p.m. March 22 at BocaWest Country Club, 20583 BocaWest Drive, Boca Raton. It will benefit Tri-County Animal Rescue (TCAR).
“Doggie Ball” will open with a Bone-Nanza pre-party, flowing with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The pre-party also will feature a silent auction with a Doggie-Cat Couture section and a special showcase of adoptable dogs. Then starts the western-themed dinner. There also will be dancing to the Jerry Wayne Private Party Band, a performance by vocalist Kendra Erika, and a live auction.
This year’s coveted Jeannette Christos Award will be presented to long-time TCAR supporter and benefactor Marta Batmasian in recognition of her unwavering dedication and commitment.
Honorary chairs for “Doggie Ball” are Lois Pope, Ari Rifkin, Herme deWyman Miro, Betsy Green, Thomas Sawicz, Andrea Kline, Debra and Jerry Kramer, and Marie and Frank Occhigrossi. Ambassadors are Jay DiPietro and Jerry Kramer.

Tri-County Animal Rescue is the region’s largest true100 percent no-kill nonprofit animal rescue and adoption center. Proceeds from “Doggie Ball” allow TCAR to continue its life-saving work, including large-scale puppy mill and other rescue missions; restoring wholeness daily to animals in need; and providing a safe home, comfort, nutritious food, tender loving care and veterinary treatment until they are adopted.
