Builders, homeowners to attend mold meeting
The city of Parkland has invited homeowners and builders to a workshop Wednesday to address concerns about mold.
Vice Mayor Stacy Kagan organized the event after complaints from residents in homes built by WCI Communities Inc., CalAtlantic Homes and Toll Brothers. City commissioners and representatives from the builders are expected to attend the meeting.
The city has approved permits for WCI, CalAtlantic and Toll to take steps that the builders hope will solve the problem.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Parkland City Hall, 6600 N. University Drive.
