Fund taxpayers’ will, not politicians’ wishes

Sun Sentinel Palm Beach Edition - - VOICES & OPINION -

Why is it that politicians have a hard time with health care? We as taxpayers pay for excellent health care for them. They get the best treatment possible. But to use “our” tax dollars to pay for health care for “all of us” is too hard to get done. Maybe, just maybe, single payer is the way to go.

Politicians are more concerned about giving tax breaks to the people who don’t even need the extra money (themselves). If you are a believer in Christ — or one with any morals at all — why would you not want to take care of poor people, young children, the vets, and the old? You know they are a part of this country (Americans). Maybe spend more on health care and less on the military. It’s our money; do what we want, not what you selfcentered greedy politicians want. Ron Kromke, Plantation
