Retirement funds for deputy shameful

Sun Sentinel Palm Beach Edition - - VOICES & OPINION -

No wonder our taxes keep going up each and every year with so many people — retired government workers, excluding those who retired from one of the armed forces, and those able-bodied, but choosing not to work — on the government dole. What an outrage to read that a Broward Sheriff’s deputy, who failed miserably in carrying out his duties to serve and protect students and teachers during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre, will be paid over $100,000 a year in retirement.
