The new “Res­cue” ex­hibit opens at the Mu­seum of Dis­cov­ery and Science in Fort Laud­erdale this week­end, co­in­cid­ing with a rare free ad­mis­sion day and hur­ri­cane pre­pared­ness event at the mu­seum on Satur­day. There is also a Chil­dren’s Book­Fest in Coral Springs, Pad­dle­topia in Surf­side, the Dania Beach Art and Seafood Fest, the open­ing of Bright­line’s Mi­amiCen­tral sta­tion, an Es­pe­cially for Kids Event in Boca Ra­ton and more.
