Throw the bums out

The Trumpist Republicans claim to be “conservative.” They appoint judges selected only from the Federalist Society, a misnomer. Yet these same Trumpist Republicans stand by in silence when Trump commutes the sentence of Roger Stone, who was convicted of the crimes of lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstructing the House investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election.

The real Constitutional history papers demonstrate that, on June 18, 1788, the Founders discussed concerns of just this type of behavior. James Madison wrote “There is one security in this case to which gentlemen may not have adverted: if the President be connected, in any suspicious manner, with any person, and there be grounds to believe he will shelter him, the House of Representatives can impeach him; they can remove him if found guilty.” Of course, the hypocritical Trumpist Republicans will continue to sit back and do nothing. The only solution is to remove all such Trump-supporting politicians from office over the next several election cycles.
