Hopkins Original Art Gallery opens
ST. MICHAELS — On his website Ryan Hopkins declares: “If you are looking for original modern art, you have come to the right place. Hopkins Original Art Gallery features only 100% Original Paintings, Graphics and Photography. We are not a traditional gallery with a few paintings on the walls. Browse hundreds of original paintings in our new St Michaels Art Gallery.”
Hopkins and his wife Susan along with the Talbot County Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the gallery in St. Michaels last Wednesday.
“I supply the inspiration, composition and paint, but the ar t creates itself,” Hopkins said in a handout available at the opening.
He is best known for his abstract avant-garde paintings, sketches and photography.
His quest has always been “to discover the never before seen.”
