Har­ris plans tax bill town hall

Will be held Nov. 11 in Sal­is­bury

U.S. Rep. Andy Har­ris, R-Md-1st, plans to host a town hall meet­ing from 4 to 5 p.m. Satur­day, Nov. 11, at the Wi­comico High School au­di­to­rium in Sal­is­bury.

SAL­IS­BURY — U.S. Rep. Andy Har­ris, R-Md-1st, plans to host a town hall meet­ing from 4 to 5 p.m. Satur­day, Nov. 11, at the Wi­comico High School au­di­to­rium.

The con­gress­man’s of­fice said the meet­ing is “to an­swer con­stituent ques­tions about the new­ly­in­tro­duced Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and other top­ics un­der con­sid­er­a­tion in Congress.”

Har­ris held a sim­i­lar town hall in March at Ch­e­sa­peake Col­lege when Repub­li­cans in Congress were work­ing on a health care bill. For that town hall, nearly ev­ery seat was filled in the col­lege’s Todd Per­form­ing Arts Cen­ter.

The Wi­comico High School au­di­to­rium is at 201 Long Ave., Sal­is­bury. Ac­cord­ing to the con­gress­man’s of­fice, park­ing and the au­di­to­rium en­trance are on the Glen Av­enue side of the school. For ques­tions about the event, call Har­ris’ Washington, D.C., of­fice at 202-225-5311.
