Dixon Valve receives preliminary OK for new headquarters
CHESTERTOWN — Without dissent, the planning commission on Dec. 20 granted preliminary site plan approval for the Dixon Valve & Coupling Co. headquarters, phase two of the Chestertown Business Campus that will transform the northern gateway to town.
Bryan Matthews, vice president of KRM Development Corp., told the Chestertown Planning Commission the tentative timeline to break ground is in September. It will take about a year to complete the project, he said.
KRM is the real estate division of Dixon
Work is underway on phase one of the Chestertown Business Campus, which is accessed by Haacke Drive. Ground was broken in June for a 150,000-square-foot warehouse. Our photograph was taken Tuesday, Dec. 26.
