Chestertown man faces drug possession charge
CHESTERTOWN — The Kent County Narcotics Task Force charged a Chestertown man with possession of drugs with intent to distribute in a school zone. He was detained within 1,000 feet of an elementary school.
De’Airres Tyler Somerville, 29, was charged with possession of suspected heroin, suspected powdered cocaine, suspected crack cocaine, and suspected marijuana with intent to distribute.
He is being held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
The drug task force, assisted by the Chestertown Police Department, executed a court-ordered search and seizure warrant on Somerville at 4:05 p.m. June 12 in the area of the Kent County Public Library.
