Vadim Smolenskiy and April Byrnes were wed Oct. 21, 2017, at Rolling Road Country Club in Baltimore, where a reception also was held. The bride was given in marriage by her mother. The officiant was Aleksy Molokin of Joppatowne.
The maid of honor was Erica Horney of Easton, and the bridesmaids were Courtney Croxton of Towson, Ashley Langefeld of Manchester, Md., and Viktoria Smolenskiy of Azerbaijan and Sparrows Point. The best man was Fedor Sosnin of Uzbeskistan and Bel Air, and the groomsmen were Aleksy Molokin of Belarus and Joppatowne, Paul Kagan of Latvia and Belair, and Andrey Kondratuyk of the Ukraine and Pikesville.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Easton High School and a 2010 graduate of Towson University. She is employed by Baltimore County Public Schools as a middle school music teacher. Her parents are Ann Frock of Trappe and Walter Byrnes of Annapolis. Her grandparents are Joseph and Joline Frock of Olney.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Franklin High School in Reisterstown and a 2007 graduate of the Ar t Institute of New York. He is co-owner of Disr uptive Inc., a digital market agency in Sparks. His parents are Boris and Irina Smolenskiy of Baltimore.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and lives in Towson.
