WHATEVER WINTER

SUP Magazine - - Frontside - PAUL ZIZKA

Winter can be maddening, especially the farther you go from the equator. The sun rises late and beds down early, and if you’re a paddler with a normal job, it doesn’t leave you much— if any—light to get on the water. That doesn’t stop some people though. Take Sue Shih here, who couldn’t resist a nighttime stroll through the slush of Vermillion Lakes near Banff, Canada.
