2018 BLUE PLANET EASY FOILER

The Easy Foiler Series was inspired by no small amount of R&D and hours upon hours of testing and modifications by Robert and legendary west Oahu waterman Sam Pa’e. The Easy Foiler models were designed to accomplish two critical tasks when it comes to foiling: 1) allow the paddler to take off and 2) optimize responsiveness while in flight. To do this, the board shape and outline are as compact as possible to distribute volume where you need it, allow for as much paddle power and speed as is needed to take off, and generate control of the board to remain in flight. If you’re thinking about SUP aviation, look no further than the Blue Planet Easy Foiler Series.

2018 BLUE PLANET EASY FOILER

The Easy Foiler is designed to make foiling as approachable and easy to learn as possible. The thick front wing has a “dihedral” in the middle to channel water for directional stability. The central part of the wing is fairly flat for lateral stability, while the extended fuselage helps control pitch for smooth flight. The downturned wing tips allow for smooth and controlled turns. All of the Easy Foiler parts are made of solid pre-preg carbon fiber and high-density foam cores for maximum strength, stiffness and weight reduction. The Easy Foiler is available in three front wing sizes based on square-centimeter surface area. The sizes are 1240, 1440 and 1750. Foil sets will be available in May 2018 that feature multiple front wing, back wing and mast sizes.

2018 BLUE PLANET POCKET KNIFE

When it comes to high performance SUP surfing, there is no better board offering than the Blue Planet Pocket Series. With a template and rocker line inspired by high performance shortboards found in the islands of Hawai’i, these models will help you bottom turn, carve, snap, cutback, perform floaters and get barreled like a pro. The pulled in nose allows for fast turns from the tail and speed down the line, while the squash tail contributes to drive and loosens up your turns on the face. These boards are deliberately kept narrow to minimize drag while maximizing rail to rail responsiveness and surf performance.
