For 2018, both sides of the map saw more attendees, more social media attention, and a new addition to the itinerary with track integration. In California, the number of registered cars eclipsed the 1,100 mark, with more than 40 vendors, new and old, supporting the event, and that includes title sponsor and tire giant Falken. In an effort to open the event to an often-neglected group, the entire show was moved to Fontana’s famous dragway, and access to the track was granted to anyone wanting to take a rip down the quarter-mile. Similarly, the Southeast stop saw a track day included, which stretched the event into a two-day affair. ››This S2000, spotted in Florida, sports a supercharger and an array of covers to hide the factory battery and fuse box, ABS, and brake booster.
››Honda’s flagship always makes an appearance at the annual Eibach Meet, and this year was no different—on both coasts. From the Southeast, this Emotion NSX was fitted with a Spoon bumper, Voltex wing, and reworked Mugen MF10S.
››Parked next to the King Motorsports booth, this AP1 duo wore various Mugen bits but didn’t stray far from the classic lines of Honda’s celebrated roadster.››Like any region in the U.S., tucked and shaved bays have become the norm. However, not all of them have the attention to detail and overall execution this K-swapped EJ Civic hatch does.
››Honda Tuning alumnus Jason Hastings gave his GS-R’S engine bay a substantial makeover. Staying with the trusted B-series, he switched to an ITB setup surrounded by filled and smoothed sheetmetal.
››S2000 builds came out in droves to both coasts’ events. This example, from the Socal stop, represented Greddy Performance and featured their newly revamped bolt-on turbo kit.
››An additional day was added to the Florida Eibach Meet itinerary for those interested in taking part and consisted of a full track day at The Florida International Rally and Motorsports Park.
››While in Fontana, a mild lip kit and splitter setup along with a Backyard Special wing and vented hood on this NSX made for a sleek buildup.
