Tactical armor. The term connotes safety, function and cutting-edge innovation … all of which are critical for the modern warfighter to do his/ her job safely and efficiently. To create this technology, it requires a diverse group. At Team Wendy, for example, the backgrounds include chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as industrial design, operations and quality control management. Staff members include military, U.S. government veterans and outdoor enthusiasts. The “line-up” is very much the same for U.S. Armor.

In essence, both companies have created a “Dream Team.” Unlike professional sports’ dream teams, however, there is much more on the line than wins and losses. These two companies focus on saving lines.

Welcome to the world of armor.
