Transit board set to discuss plans for more bus shelters

Plans for more bus shelters and benches along Texarkana Urban Transit District’s eight bus routes will be a topic at the district’s Board of Directors’ monthly meeting at noon today.

Board members, who will meet inside the district’s T-Line Transit Center at 1402 Texas Blvd., will listen to a presentation by district’s transportation manager Nancy Hoehn.

Besides bus bench and shelter locations, Hoehn will also deliver a status report on T-Line’s bus fleet and the need for parts in the district’s bus parts inventory.
