CHARLES BURKS

LEWISVILLE, Ark.—Charles “Snoop” Burks, 63, of Lewisville died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Burks was born on May 22, 1953, in Lewisville.

Survivors include one son, Robert Burks of Glenn Heights, Texas; one daughter, Tamika Willis of Nash, Texas; four sisters, Willie Mae Pree of Lewisville, Augustine Martin of Detroit, Mich., Hazel McCullough of Detroit, and Dollie Williams of Detroit; six brothers, J.T. Burks of Fort Wayne, Ind., Rev. James Burks of Springfield, Ohio, Melvin Burks of Ypsilanti, Mich., Clarence Burks of Texarkana, Texas, Richard Burks of Prescott, Ark., and Henry Burks of St. Louis, Mo.; two granddaughters; two grandsons; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. James Burks officiating. Burial will be in Boyd Hill Cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.
