IMOGENE JESTER

ATLANTA, Texas—Imogene Jester, 79, of Burkburnett, Texas, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 in a Burkburnett nursing home.

Mrs. Jester was born Oct. 31, 1936, in Linden, Texas. She was co-owner of a logging company and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jester. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Hall of Burkburnett; three brothers, Phil Cox and Richard Cox of Cass County, Texas, and Harvey Cox of Texarkana; two grandchildren, Michelle Fant of Burkburnett and John Thomas, Jr. of Cass County; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hanner Funeral Chapel with Dee Cruson officiating. Burial will be in O’Farrell Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
