Texarkana, Ark., police are looking for a man who robbed BancorpSouth at about 10 a.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of North State Line Avenue.

Details of the police investigation revealed that an unknown male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a blue mask that only showed his eyes, entered the bank and demanded money from the teller while displaying a handgun.

Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect left the bank and headed south from the building.

This is the second time this year that the bank has had an armed robbery. A man wearing a mask and dark clothing robbed the branch on Jan. 9. The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is urged to call the Arkansas-side police at 903798-3154 or the Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP.
