RINDER RICHARDSON-BROWN

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas— Rinder Earl Richardson-Brown, 61, formerly of Linden, Texas, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, in a Dallas hospital.

Mrs. Richards onBrown was born Nov. 10, 1955, in Linden.

Survivors include one daughter , Monica C. Stuckey of Dallas; one son, Timothy L. Stuckey of Dallas; six brothers, Jessie L.. Hatley of Dallas, Lawrence E. Hatley, Kenneth W. Richardson and Dale W. Williamson of Texarkana, James R. Hatley of Douglasvil­le, Texas, and MacKenzie King of Naples, Texas; two sisters Sandra L. King and Debra E. Williamson of Texarkana; six grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Vickie Davis officiatin­g under direction of J.C. White Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

BILLIE MILLS

Billie Francis Mills, 57, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, October 10, 2017, in a Dallas hospital.

Mrs. Mills was born Dec. 6, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Baker.

Surv ivors include one son, Joshua D. Mills; one daughter, Angel L. Mills; one sister, Rita Qualls; one half-sister, Verna Villega; one grandson, Joshua W. Mills; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. James Ross officiatin­g. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Relatives will be at the home of Rita Qualls, 643 MC 93, Texarkana, AR, after the service.

GERALD SANDERS

William Gerald Sanders, 76, of Atlanta, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, in a local nursing home. Mr. Sanders was born Oct. 16, 1940, in Alexandria, La. He was retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad and a member of Westside Baptist Church, Atlanta.

Surv ivors include his wife, Iris Sanders; three daughters, Kim Stigaullde, Shellye Preston and Kay Wright; three stepsons, Mike Glover, Robert Glover and Bryan Glover; one stepdaught­er, Patricia Bennett; 10 grandchild­ren; 20 great-grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Private inurnment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will follow services at the funeral home.

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas— Grady Charles Doddy, 64, of Hughes Springs died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017.

Mr. Doddy was born May 31, 1953.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Christian Church. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

IDABEL, Okla.—Joe Freeman Battiest Jr., 52, of Idabel died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, in Idabel. Mr. Battiest was born Oct. 23, 1964, in Talihina, Okla. He was formerly employed with the Idabel Nutrition Center and Idabel Stockyards and a member of Kulli Chito Church, Broken Bow, Okla. Survivors include one daughter, Jo Ann Battiest of Idabel; two brothers, Jimmy Battiest of Ashdown, Ark., and Terry Battiest of Talihina; four sisters, Diane James and Christie Espinoza of Broken Bow, Okla., Karen Neal of McAlester, Okla., and Valerie Hammond of Lake Charles, La.; one granddaugh­ter, Cheyenne Cherry of Idabel; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at White Family Funeral Home with Tommy Wesley officiatin­g. Burial will be in Denison Cemetery.

Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

HOPE, Ark.—Frances Johnson, 58, of Ozan, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, in a Little Rock hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born May 14, 1959, in Ozan. She was a member of St. Luke CME Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Johnson.

Surv ivors include her mother, Mamie Staggers; four sisters, Ora Mays, Vanessa Green and Victoria Phillips of Ozan and Gracie McFadden of Mineral Springs, Ark.; four brothers, Cecil Staggers of Nashville, Ark., and George Staggers, Johnny Staggers and Jessie Staggers of Ozan; one special nephew, Montrell Daniels; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke CME Church with the Rev. Anretha Walker officiatin­g under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

RODNEY ORR

HOPE, Ark.—Rodney Earl Orr, 85, of Hope died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Orr was born April 7, 1932, in McCaskill, Ark. He was a retired captain with the Arkansas State Police, a member of Unity Baptist Church, Hope, and an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Lyllene Burke Orr of Hope; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Jack Barker of Hope; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Stephanie Orr and Rodney and Jennifer Orr of Hope; six grandchild­ren; six great-grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home with Glen Tropp officiatin­g. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

KE’DRIC MITCHELL

Ke’Dric Montae Mitchell, infant son of Dae Monique Sims and Sharoddric Mitchell of Texarkana, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at his home.

Ke’Dric was born Aug. 28, 2017, in Texarkana, Texas.

Other survivors include two sisters, Ke’Dria Mitchell and LaShell Brown of Texarkana; and his grandparen­ts, Trina Porter, Demetric Sims, Betty Mitchell and Billy Mitchell of Texarkana.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Jackie Robinson officiatin­g. Burial will be under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
