Museum curator to discuss history of steamboats on Red

Mike McCrary, curator of DeKalb Museum System, will speak about the history of steamboats on the Red River at 6 p.m. today at Stanley Davis Community Center in Fouke, Ark.

The event is hosted by Citizens for a Better Community. A fried chicken meal with sides, dessert and a drink will be provided, and donations will benefit the group’s Town Square Project.
