PRESCOTT, Ark.—Edith Hunter, 86, of Prescott died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Hunter was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Fort Payne, Ala. She was retired from Allcare Pharmacy, formerly employed with Buchanan Drug Store, a homemaker and a Sunday School teacher and member of First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin Earl “Bud” Hunter; and one son, Ronald Earl “Ronnie” Hunter.

Survivors include three children and two spouses, Kathy and Jimmy Bobo of Malvern, Ark., and Ricky Hunter and Michelle and Greg Hartman of Prescott; two brothers, Jim Hastings of Little Rock and James Hastings of Bauxite, Ark.; two sisters, Alvlene Lewis of Russellvil­le, Ark., and Shirley Nicholson of Mabelvale, Ark.; six grandchild­ren; seven great-grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at New Salem Cemetery, Laneburg, Ark., with the Revs. Jimmy Bobo and Jerry Hightower officiatin­g. Burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.

Visitation will be noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
