Don’t miss Olde Langhorne Har­vest Day

LANGHORNE BOROrGH – Crafters, a Hal­loween cos­tume parade, a jug­gler, a Rev­o­lu­tion­ary War re-en­ac­tor and face paint­ing.

The 8th an­nual Olde Langhorne Har­vest Day will fea­ture all of that and more on Satur­day, Oct. 2T from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Maple Av­enue will be the venue for the free event be­tween Route 413 and Belle­vue Av­enue.

The cos­tume parade will step out at 12:30 p.m. at the in­ter­sec­tion of Route 413 and Route 213.

Also fea­tured will be chil­dren’s games, food and live mu­sic.

Ellen Schoen, who co­or­di­nates Har­vest Day with Suzanne Goss and Kari Thomas, said about 2,000 to 3,000 peo­ple are expected to at­tend.

Schoen serves on the spe­cial events com­mit­tee of the Langhorne Bor­ough Busi­ness As­so­ci­a­tion, the spon­sor of Har­vest Day. She is also trea­surer of the as­so­ci­a­tion.

“It’s some­thing to bring the community to­gether and it’s just a fun day to in­ter­act with the res­i­dents, or­ga­ni­za­tions and busi­nesses in town,” Schoen said.
