YARDLEY BOROUGH – Little tykes took off like the speed of lightning when Carmen Ramirez said, “Go!”

Their target was a sea of brightly-colored Easter Eggs complete with a surprise inside.

Carol Schultz, a member of the Recreation Board for 15 years, had spread 800-900 colorful plastic eggs across the lawn at Buttonwood Park. She said about 100 kids turned out for the big event in town. “This is more kids than we’ve had in a long time,” said Schultz. After all, it was a picture perfect day with a blue sky dotted with billowy white clouds. The air was a bit chilly, though.
