Lions Concert Series continues
The Bristol Lions Club Summer Concert Series continues on Sunday, July 14 with Point Blank and music from the R0s. The music begins at 6 p.m. at the gazebo behind the hing George Inn. The Doris Simon Swing Band will perform on Sunday, July 21 with Big Band Swing and Jazz. July closes with the 42nd Annual Puerto Rican Day cestival from 12 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 28 along the waterfront and wharf area. The festival is sponsored by the Puerto Rican Cultural Association of Bucks County. The Lions Concert Series resumes on Sunday, Aug. 4 with the RGM Project and music from the R0s to the present. The concert begins at 6 p.m. at the gazebo. The third annual Bridging the Delaware cestival of Lights returns to the waterfront in Bristol and Burlington, N.J., on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 4 to 10 p.m. The event features a decorated boat parade at T p.m. and fiUHwRUNV RvHU BuUOLnJWRn ,VODnG DW 9 S.P. 7KH UDLn GDWH is Sunday, Aug. 11. The ethnic celebrations continue on Sunday, Aug. 18 with the 19th annual Afro-American cestival sponsored by the Afro-American Association of Bristol Borough. The festival takes place from 12 to 8 p.m. at the wharf and along the waterfront. The concerts at the gazebo conclude with karaoke by Just Jays on Sunday, Aug. 2R and the Philadelphia Banjo Society with a traditional banjo show and sing-along music on Sunday, Sept. 1.
