Crossing History Camp
Children entering grades 3-5 in September 2013 are invited to participate in our summer history camp program “Travelers of Colonial History” at Washington Crossing Historic Park August 5 to 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will explore the Colonial era through games, crafts, cooking and more. Attendance is limited to 30 children. Registrations are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis until July 19. The cost is $150 for the first child in a family and $125 for additional children. Proceeds benefit The Friends of Washington Crossing Historic Park, a non-profit organization. Perkasie. A student at Zhenjiang High School in Jiangsu province, Gecheng Zhang, will present a view of life in Zhenjiang today as he speaks about how Pearl S. Buck is revered in this city and others through a discussion on her homes, museums, and other Chinese memorials dedicated to her legacy. The community is invited to be a part of this audience as he shares his unique insight into the life of a student in modern day Zhenjiang. A question and answer session will follow his presentation.
