Marcella P. Kelly
Marcella P. “Marcy” Kelly, 82, of North Wales, formerly of Maple Glen, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Sobczak and Stella (nee Dyba) and Paul Jakiela.
She was a homemaker and mother and a former member of St. Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen, where she sang in the choir and was active in the St. Alphonsus Seniors. She also belonged to the Colony Club of Ambler and St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale.
Marcy was the beloved wife of James F. Kelly and the devoted mother of David J.(Barbara) Kelly of Crystal Lake, Ill., Denis P.(Janine) Kelly of Havertown, Pa., Diane K.(Harris) Gubernick of Warrington, Donna M.(Brian) Aquilante of Lansdale, Duane F.(Maribeth) Kelly of Chester Springs and Debra L. Kelly of Horsham. She was the loving grandmother of 15, greatgrandmother of 12 and sister of Eleanor Roslonski, John Sobczak and Charlotte Isaacs, all of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in death by her sister Lorraine Schorr in 2010.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, Aug. 18, at St. Stanislaus Church, Lansdale.
Interment was at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
