ated from Abing­ton High School in 1942 and later at­tended Har­cum Ju­nior Col­lege. She earned her bach­e­lor’s de­gree in lib­eral arts from Syra­cuse rniver­sity in 1946.

Benny be­gan her 35-year ca­reer as a real es­tate agent in 1971 with the Craig Shield Real Es­tate Agency. In 1978, she be­came an agent with G. Wil­son Price Real Es­tate. In 1995, she joined nuinn C Wil­son Real­tors in Abing­ton, from where she re­tired. She was a mem­ber of Eastern Mont­gomery County Real Es­tate Board.

Benny served as the di­rec­tor for the Jenk­in­town Day Nurs­ery and also vol­un­teered with Abing­ton Memo­rial Hospi­tal.

She was a life­time mem­ber of Hunt­ing­don sal­ley Coun­try Club, where she HQMRYHG JRO­fiQJ DQG SODY­ing tennis. She also en­joyed play­ing bridge.

Benny was a mem­ber of Grace Pres­by­te­rian Church in Jenk­in­town.

Benny is sur­vived by her lov­ing chil­dren and their spouses, Row­land C. Jr. “Randy” and Linda Evans, Bruce L. and Lisa Evans and Beth E. and Stephen Sul­li­van; her grand­chil­dren, Alyson Beha, Row­land C. “Tripp” Evans III, Evan Sul­li­van, Arielle Evans, helsey Sul­li­van and Marissa Evans; and by her great-grand­son, James Beha.

Memo­rial ser­vice will be held at 11 a.m. on Satur­day, Oct. 20, 2012, at Hunt­ing­don sal­ley Coun­try Club, 2295 Coun­try Club Drive, Hunt­ing­don sal­ley. A re­cep­tion will fol­low the ser­vice. In­ter­ment in ceme­tery of St. Luke’s Memo­rial Church will be held pri­vately.
