Robert W. John­ston, 67, of Palm Har­bor, Fla., passed away at home on Aug. 18, 2012, af­ter a coura­geous three year bat­tle with leiomyosar­coma. Bob was born in Philadel­phia on July 27, 1945 and grew up in Ambler, Pa.

He grad­u­ated from Up­per Dublin High School in Fort Wash­ing­ton, Pa., and then fur­thered his stud­ies and grad­u­ated from Car­roll Col­lege in Wauke­sha, Wis. Bob taught at Ply­mouth Whitemarsh High School and later moved to Florida IRU D FDUHHU LQ fiQDQFLDO FRQ­sult­ing.

Bob is sur­vived by his wife, Frances, and their daugh­ters, Lauren and Kim­berly of Palm Har­bor; as well as his mother, Nancy, of Ambler; his brother Wayne and wife Joyce of Hor­sham; his brother Char­lie and his wife, Kathy, of New­port, Del.; and nieces and neph­ews. Bob was pre­de­ceased by his fa­ther, Earl, in 2007.

Grave-site ser­vices will be held at 3 p.m. on Satur­day Oct. 27, at Sun­set Memo­rial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, Pa.
