78, beloved Husband, Father and loving friend to many passed away quietly at home surrounded by his family on February 17, 2017. Norman was employed most of his life in the grocery trade supplying candy on the shelves of markets in Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. His last years of employment were spent driving a shuttle for Vans Chevrolet. During all of his years meeting clients and customers he shared his love of people and always focused on them never himself. Norman is survived by his wife, Sally Jo; children Scott Wilson, Brooks (Paul) Stanfield, Dan Wilson, Breck (Cindy) Bond, Jody Wilson, Lisa (David) Drew, Garland Bond and Brittney (Kip) Gale; 17 grandchild­ren; 8 great grandchild­ren; sister Joanne (Clair) Peterson and brother Delwin (Sheila) Bond. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews. Norman was loved by many and his words of counsel influenced everyone’s life that touched his. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Norman was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served as a teacher, Bishop and High Counselor. He has a testimony of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and lived what he believed. Norman’s visitation will be held on Friday March 3rd, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4601 W. Encanto Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85035. Interment to follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix, Arizona. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Norman’s name to Hospice of the Valley. Arrangemen­ts entrusted to Advantage Crystal Rose Funeral Home, Tolleson, Arizona.
