Consider adding Riley, 6, to your family
Since puppyhood, Riley has only had one family, and the labrador/shepherd mix has always been the perfect dog.
However, despite how loving, loyal, and well-trained she is, her owners simply didn’t have time for a dog after they brought home twins. It was a tearful goodbye as they dropped their beloved Riley off at the Arizona Humane Society.
Exceptionally sweet and easy going, Riley will fit easily into any home. The 6-year-old loves belly rubs, is house trained, leash trained, knows several tricks, uses a dog door, plays with kids, ignores cats, and only barks at the vacuum or if she sees a hot air balloon in the sky.
She’ll play a few rounds of fetch in the morning, but appreciates downtime. Around noon, she settles in for a nap and many times, she falls asleep with a tennis ball still in her mouth.
Meet Riley at noon Sunday at the Arizona Humane Society, 1521 W. Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, and a microchip. For more information call 602-997-7585 and ask for animal number A553046.
