Your heart will crumble for pint-size terrier mix Muffin

The Arizona Republic - - COMMUNITIES - ASHLIEGH GOEBEL

Anyone looking for a quiet, sweet, easy-going canine companion should consider Muffin. The pint-size, ultra-scruffy, adorable terrier mix has proven herself to be the ultimate lap dog.

The 2-year-old was clinging to life when she was rescued by Emergency Animal Medical Technicians from the Arizona Humane Society, but after weeks of medical treatment, Muffin made a full recovery.

Although she’s leash trained, the petite pooch prefers to be toted around in fashionable handbag/pet carrier and would like to be your constant companion, tagging along for shopping excursions, lunch dates, and outings at the park when the weather is nice.

She knows how to use a dog door, is good with dogs her size and enjoys gentle neck scratches.

Meet Muffin at noon Sunday at the Arizona Humane Society, 1521 W. Dob- bins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay surgery, medical treatment, vaccinations and a microchip.

For more information call 602-9977585 and ask for animal number A566385.

Previous Pet: Sugar, the Siamese cat, was adopted.
