Deputies ar­rest man iden­ti­fied as sus­pect in San Manuel home rob­bery

The Pi­nal County Sher­iff’s Of­fice has ar­rested a man sus­pected of break­ing into a home and as­sault­ing a home­owner in San Manuel on Sept. 10.

Deputies were able to iden­tify the in­truder as Daniel Tor­rio af­ter re­leas­ing photos and video footage on so­cial me­dia, said Sher­iff Mark Lamb.

Tor­rio used a screw­driver to break into a home in the 500 block of San Car­los Street in San Manuel, of­fi­cials said.

When the home­owner woke up, he found Tor­rio stand­ing in his kitchen, of­fi­cials said. Tor­rio at­tacked him with the screw­driver and ran away, of­fi­cials said.

Ac­cord­ing to of­fi­cials, T or­rio was booked into jail on a pa­role vi­o­la­tion but will face charges of bur­glary and ag­gra­vated as­sault.
