Ryan, Vincent "Vince" Thomas
84 of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2017. Vince was born and raised in Paterson, NJ where he completed his education before enlisting in the United States Air force, proudly serving his country during the Korean War era. As a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, he refined his trade as an electrician prior to forming a successful cultured marble business with wife, Joan. Vince was a motorcycle enthusiast, a loyal Arizona Diamondbacks fan, and an expert woodworking craftsman. Vince is survived by his children Kathleen and Steven Kopack, Susan and Thomas Warren, Eileen Ryan, Nancy and Daniel Spencer, grandchildren David and Rikki Kopack, Shawn Warren, Kelsey Warren, Liam Spencer, and Amelia Spencer. He is survived by sister, Patricia Schaeffer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Porecki Ryan in 2014 and brother James in 1998. A memorial service in his honor is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Harley Davidson of Scottsdale, 15656 N. Hayden Rd. All are welcome to attend in casual attire to celebrate Vince’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans’ charity, DAV (dav.org).
