Ryan, Vin­cent "Vince" Thomas

84 of Phoenix, passed away peace­fully on Oc­to­ber 8, 2017. Vince was born and raised in Pater­son, NJ where he com­pleted his ed­u­ca­tion be­fore en­list­ing in the United States Air force, proudly serv­ing his coun­try dur­ing the Korean War era. As a mem­ber of the In­ter­na­tional Broth­er­hood of Elec­tri­cal Work­ers, he re­fined his trade as an elec­tri­cian prior to form­ing a suc­cess­ful cul­tured mar­ble busi­ness with wife, Joan. Vince was a mo­tor­cy­cle en­thu­si­ast, a loyal Ari­zona Di­a­mond­backs fan, and an ex­pert wood­work­ing crafts­man. Vince is sur­vived by his chil­dren Kath­leen and Steven Kopack, Su­san and Thomas War­ren, Eileen Ryan, Nancy and Daniel Spencer, grand­chil­dren David and Rikki Kopack, Shawn War­ren, Kelsey War­ren, Liam Spencer, and Amelia Spencer. He is sur­vived by sis­ter, Pa­tri­cia Scha­ef­fer. He was pre­ceded in death by his wife, Joan Porecki Ryan in 2014 and brother James in 1998. A memo­rial ser­vice in his honor is sched­uled for Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 14th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Har­ley David­son of Scotts­dale, 15656 N. Hay­den Rd. All are wel­come to at­tend in ca­sual at­tire to cel­e­brate Vince’s life. In lieu of flow­ers, do­na­tions may be made to the Veterans’ char­ity, DAV (dav.org).
