79 of Scotts­dale, AZ, passed away on Septem­ber 25, 2017. Con­nie was born in Amer­i­can Fork, Utah on In­de­pen­dence Day and moved to Phoenix, AZ with her hus­band Robert Vale and her three chil­dren, K.C. Vale, Cyn­thia Vale, and Mishell El­lis­ton in the early 1970s. Con­nie was a pi­o­neer in women-owned busi­nesses in the 1980s in the Phoenix Metropoli­tan area. She was fea­tured on a news pro­gram in the mid-80s for women who owned and man­aged busi­nesses. Con­nie was truly a dy­namic busi­ness woman and lov­ing mother who man­aged life bal­ance be­tween work and fam­ily. Con­nie also was a won­der­ful oil painter for many years fea­tur­ing land­scapes and por­traits. Con­nie had an artis­tic spirit and was gifted in ad­ver­tis­ing sales. She is sur­vived by her chil­dren, grand­chil­dren Kelvin Vale and Emersen El­lis­ton, and many lov­ing nieces and neph­ews. Pri­vate memo­rial ser­vices will be held in Oc­to­ber.
