City to up­date pub­lic on TSPLOST projects

As its next monthly trans­porta­tion meet­ing with the pub­lic, Johns Creek of­fi­cials will pro­vide up­dates and give res­i­dents a chance to ask ques­tions and com­ment on projects to be funded by the Trans­porta­tion Spe­cial Pur­pose Lo­cal Op­tion Sales Tax.

The meet­ing is sched­uled for 7 to 9 p.m., Oct. 19, at the Mu­nic­i­pal Court/Po­lice De­part­ment head­quar­ters, 11445 Johns Creek Park­way. To pro­vide de­sign in­put on­line for TSPLOST road con­struc­tion gen­er­ally or for one of 22 projects in the city, go to:

Ful­ton County vot­ers out­side the city of At­lanta ap­proved the TSPLOST last Novem­ber for their re­spec­tive com­mu­ni­ties. The 5-year, 0.75-cent spe­cial sales tax is ex­pected to gen­er­ate $82 mil­lion for Johns Creek road projects.
