Potential traffic trouble for I-85 express lane work

Georgia DOT has started overnight lane closures that go until Aug. 13 on I-85 north and southbound.

Left lane closures will occur northbound and southbound from 9 p.m. today until 5 a.m. Aug. 12 between S.R. 20 and Gravel Springs Road for asphalt paving. Right lane closures begin at 9 p.m. today and go through 5 a.m. Aug. 12 between Spout Springs Road and Hamilton Mill Road for overhead sign installation. Traffic pacing will begin at 11 p.m. Aug. 11 and go until 4 a.m. Aug. 13 between Gravel Springs Road and S. R. 211 for overhead sign installation.
