China Wok in Henry County fails inspection
A Chinese restaurant in Henry County failed a recent health inspection. China Wok in Stockbridge scored 45/U on Oct. 4. Previous scores were 88/B on March 8, 2017 and 70/C on Feb. 21, 2017.
According to the report, there were numerous new violations:
■ Employees failed to wash hands between tasks.
■ Raw eggs were stored above above raw beef in the walk in cooler.
■ Dirty knives were stored with clean utensils.
■ There was no internal thermometer in the cooler unit.
■ Single-use items were being reused.
■ Excessive debris was near shelving/ dry storage areas.
■ The rear screen door had holes in it and was not properly sealed at the bottom. This would allow insects in.
Most restaurants with failed scores are reinspected within 10 days.
