China Wok in Henry County fails in­spec­tion

A Chi­nese restau­rant in Henry County failed a re­cent health in­spec­tion. China Wok in Stock­bridge scored 45/U on Oct. 4. Pre­vi­ous scores were 88/B on March 8, 2017 and 70/C on Feb. 21, 2017.

Ac­cord­ing to the re­port, there were nu­mer­ous new vi­o­la­tions:

■ Em­ploy­ees failed to wash hands be­tween tasks.

■ Raw eggs were stored above above raw beef in the walk in cooler.

■ Dirty knives were stored with clean uten­sils.

■ There was no in­ter­nal ther­mome­ter in the cooler unit.

■ Sin­gle-use items were be­ing reused.

■ Ex­ces­sive de­bris was near shelv­ing/ dry stor­age ar­eas.

■ The rear screen door had holes in it and was not prop­erly sealed at the bot­tom. This would al­low in­sects in.

Most restau­rants with failed scores are rein­spected within 10 days.
