New MetLife Stadium turf passes latest inspection by NFL

The turf at MetLife Stadium is good to go for Sunday’s Giants-49ers game, the NFL said after inspecting the field. The field was inspected after the 49ers complained the “sticky” surface caused at least four players to sustain knee injuries in a 31-13 win over the Jets this past Sunday.
