On Monday, February 20, the Baltimore County Department of Public Works installed new traffic calming measures on Cunninghill Cove Road in Middle River. Three additional speed humps and an island were installed on Cun

ninghill Cove Road bringing the number of traffic calming measures up to five. Patrick Pomeroy, President of the Bay Country Community As

sociation acquired the requisite signatures and Councilwoman Bevins ensured the necessary funding was available to make this project a reality.

“I am so happy that these speed humps were finally in

stalled on Cunninghill Cove Rd. This would not have been possible without the hard work and commitment of Pat

rick Pomeroy who knocked on every door in the com

munity to make sure he got the signatures needed. I was more than willing to work with Patrick and the Department of Public Works to make sure that these measures were in

stalled. This traffic calming is a victory for the Bay Country Community,” said Bevins.
