Freedom rings at Wilson Point 4th of July Parade
Every heart was beating true for the red, white, and blue at the Wilson Point Independence Day Parade on Tuesday, July 4. Beginning at the Middle River Volunteer Fire Company hall on Wilson Point Rd., the parade had spectators lining the street to get a glimpse of a cavalcade of decorated firetrucks, golf carts, bicycles, tractors, wagons, and floats. Paraders included decked-out equipment from the Middle River and Bowley’s Quarters Volunteer Fire Companies
and local boy scouts troops who proudly displayed the nation’s colors. The procession marched from Wilson Point Rd. to Dogwood Rd. and Shore Rd. For more photos of the parade, visit www.avenuenews.com.
