Disney on Ice returns
Steele keeps fit by practicing yoga and working out in her spare time. She says the best part of traveling with Disney on Ice is seeing a new city every week. While she loves everything about her job as Rapunzel, she does have one superstition that she won’t break no matter what: her left skate always has to go on first.
Things she can’t live without on the road? “My teddy bear, it’s gone everywhere with me since the beginning of my international career. Also, my iPod and my foam roller,” she said.
“I love performing because I am able to share my love of the sport and the spotlight with the audience. I want them to see how much I love to skate,” added Steele. “For kids who are interested in being a performer, my advice is to be yourself and keep learning. Never stop.”
“One of the most magical things about Disney On Ice is the performers’ ability to authentically showcase the best qualities of Disney characters,” said Director Patty Vincent. “At our shows, moms and dads are able to experience the magic through the eyes of their children, allowing them to reconnect with their favorite characters and once again experience the childlike wonder and hope that inspires us all.” Disney on Ice Presents Dare to Dream Wednesday – Sunday, October 11 — 15 Royal Farms Arena 201 W Baltimore St, Baltimore, MD 21201 Show Times: Wednesday, October 11th at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 12th at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 13th at 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 14th at 11:00 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, October 15th at 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets via charge, by phone at 1-800745-3000, via www.ticketmaster.com, and at the Royal Farms Arena box office.
