NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL BONDS
$248,540,000* San Francisco County Transportation Authority Senior Sales Tax Revenue Bonds (Limited Tax Bonds) Series 2017 (the “Bonds”)
The San Francisco County Transportation Authority (the “Transportation Authority”) intends to receive bids for the above-referenced Bonds until 8:30 a.m., California Time, on October 19, 2017, and invites the submission of bids through the electronic bidding services of iDeal BIDCOMP Competitive Bidding System and Parity Electronic Bid Submission System. Electronic bids will be considered by the Transportation Authority at such time at 1455 Market St., San Francisco, California 94103. Action will be taken awarding the Bonds or rejecting all bids for the Bonds as set forth in the Official Notice of Sale.
The Transportation Authority reserves the right to postpone the date established for the receipt of bids and sale of the Bonds as more fully set forth in the Official Notice of Sale. Any such postponement will be announced via Thomson Municipal News on Thomson Municipal Market Monitor (www.tm3.com) (the “News Service”). If any date fixed for the sale of the Bonds is postponed, any alternative sale date will be announced through the News Service at least 24 hours prior to such alternative sale date. The Transportation Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive, without limitation, any irregularity or informality with respect to any bid, except the time of receipt of electronic bids. The Transportation Authority also reserves the right to modify or amend the Official Notice of Sale as set forth therein, including to modify the size or structure of the transaction.
The Bonds will be dated their Date of Delivery. The principal amount of the Bonds sold may be adjusted after the award of such bonds, as set forth in the Official Notice of Sale.
The invitation for bids on the Bonds is being made by means of the Official Notice of Sale and the Preliminary Official Statement delivered in connection with the sale of the Bonds.
