Students attend Snack and Wrap Party for good cause
Devon Preparatory School’s 28 seventh graders and their families had agreed to sponsor a family at the Domestic Violence Center in West Chester for Christmas. They bought the family clothes, toys, diapers, personal items and more. After enjoying a hearty snack the boys set out to wrap the gifts, nearly 60 in all, so their sponsored family could have a special holiday. Although folding the ends of the paper and getting the tape on just right was a little tricky, with the help of several moms the boys got the hang of it.
